Three killed as Indian soldiers use brute force

SRINAGAR (Agencies) - Despite imposition of curfew in entire Occupied Kashmir and use of brute force by the Indian security forces to stop movement on the roads and streets, tens of thousands of valiant Kashmiris thronged the Lal Chowk and chanted slogans in favour of freedom and against India.
Lal Chowk echoed with slogans of freedom with demonstrators shouted, “We will snatch freedom.”
Cellphones were jammed and TV channels were barred from covering the Lal Chowk rally. In Nauhatta, protesters defied curfew and were subjected to torture by the Indian occupation forces. Lal Chowk was sealed off and thousands of CRPF men were deployed in Srinagar.
According to BBC, the APHC leaders could not hold Freedom March due to strict security measures adopted by the puppet regime of Occupied Kashmir. The Indian forces subjected the protesters to brute force and resultantly, three Kashmiris were killed and several others were injured.
The entire Kashmir Valley turned into fortress ahead of holding march towards Lal Chowk in Srinagar by Kashmiris to press their demand for right of self-determination.
All top Kashmiri leaders including second ranking leaders were detained by the Paramilitary forces sealed all the vantage points in cities and towns of the valley.
However, reports from Srinagar said protests were held in different parts of the valley despite these strict measures.
Due to strict curfew and media restrictions, the newspapers could not hit the stands on Monday.
Media reports quoting APHC senior leader Abdul Gani Bhat said by imposing restrictions, the Indian authorities are not prepared to listening to the views of Kashmiris.
