ISLA MABAD Two soldiers were martyred and at least six terrorists were killed in the ongoing military operation Rah-e-Nijat in South Waziristan Agency, ISPR Friday said. A statement issued here said that on Jandola-Sararogha axis, security forces successfully secured important feature point 5376, three kilometres north of Ahmed Wam. Two soldiers embraced martyrdom and two others got injured while six terrorists were killed as a result of exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists at Ahmed Wam. Clearance operation at Khawasai is under process. On Shakai-Kaniguram axis, security forces conducted search operation in the area around Torwam, cleared compounds and recovered cache of arms and ammunition. On Razmak-Makeen axis, security forces have fully secured the area from Makeen to Marobi Raghzai and roadblock has been established at Shah Wali Algad. Security forces cleared built up area of Rogha and Mir Khoni. Terrorists fired rockets at Razmak Camp and Laghr Manza, which were effectively responded by security forces. Security forces conducted search operation at Shalpin, Amankot, Ghalagai and apprehended three terrorists. A total of 10,946 cash cards have been issued to displaced families of Waziristan.
