HO among three cops was killed and another injured in a road accident here in Bhawalnagar on Saturday. According to details, a police van that was on routine patrol skid off road due to over speeding and hit a tree by roadside near Chak-294 HR, tehsil Fort Abbas of Bhawalnagar district. As a result of accident, SHO Marwatt Police Station, Malik Muhammad Iqbal, Constable Shabbir Ahmed and driver Allah Rakha were killed while another cop sustained injuries. The bodies and injured cop were shifted to Victor Hospital Bhawalnagar for medico-legal requirements.
