Shabbir Iqbal defends CNS Open Golf title

KARACHI - Holder Shabbir Iqbal defended THE Chief of Naval Staff open golf title with an impressive score of thirteen under 275 in the four day championship which concluded here at Karachi golf course.

In the fourth and the final round Shabbir recorded four under 68 to win the title for the second time in succession and got winners prize of rupees five lac and seven thousand. Nadeem Inayat and M Munir with identical scores of one under 287 finished joint second. They each got rupees three lac forty thousand in prize money.
Ali Hai staged a marvellous come back to clinch the amateur title with gross score of 301.Ghazanfer finished third with 309.
