LAHORE - The Punjab Sports Festival marathon races of 17 kilometres and three kilometres will be held here on March 4 with thousands of people participating in it, organising committee chairman Rana Mashood said this in a news conference on Thursday.
Talking to the reporters here, Rana Mashood along with DG Sports Usman Anwar, said: “The 17-kilometre event will only be participated by male sportsmen and it will not be a mixed race. We will be accommodating women in the 3km family fun race which will be an exclusively family event and only families will be registered in it and entry will be purely on family basis not on a single participation.”
He said so far thousands of participants had registered for both the events and they were expecting mass participation in main and family fun race.
