LAHORE – Newage Cables having half goal handicapped advantage beat Valvoline Lubricants by four and half goals to two in the Finale Polo Cup 2012 here at the Lahore Polo Club on Wednesday.
The two outfits scored one goal each in the first chukkur. Ali Malik of Valvoline Lubricants and Adnan Jalil of Newage Cables were the scorers. No goal was recorded in second chukker while third chukkur was dominiated by Newage Cables who scored two goals through Adnan Jalil and Agha Hashim Ali. In the last chukker, Shahzad Magoon smashed second goal for his team to make it 3-2 but Mudassar Khan slammed fourth goal for Newage Cables and steered his team to 4½-2 victory.
