KARACHI  - Celebrated British Chess Grand Master Dr Nigel Short Saturday complimented Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq for his composure and patience who helped his team to take an assailable 2-0 lead in the series. Misbah, not flamboyant and fully focused on his job as captain and did it in style," Dr. Nigel an avid cricket follower said. "Misbah is very cool and composed which impressed me," he commented. “Pakistan really played smart cricket and I am surprised with England's mediocre batting," he said. Dr. Short said it was really presence of top batsmen, who had done remarkably well in the past. England batting crashed against Ajmal and Rehman like train crash, he said. Ajmal really outplayed England, he asserted. He said Pakistan team did a great job by toppling world number one English team. This series turning is really interesting and exciting from Pakistan point of view but England supporters and him, he concluded.
