Dar vows to continue serving hockey

LAHORE – Former Olympian Tauqeer Dar has said that he will continue the mission of his father legend hockey Olympian Munir Dar and uncle Tanvir Dar to assist the deserving and promising young hockey players and promote the game across the country.
Talking to the reporters, Dar Hockey Academy president Tauqeer Dar said that Dar Hockey Academy’s Europe tour was very beneficial and helped young players gaining international exposure as well as improving their skills and game.
“It was Dar Hockey Academy team’s third successive tour to Europe which proved very beneficial and helping for the youngsters. The tour was made successful with the sincere efforts of Iftikhar Ali Malik, Anjum Nisar, Farooq Dar, Khurram, Farooq Khan, Fahad, Ayaz, Asif, Sameer and Abbas and I am really thankful to all of them,” he said.
He said: “International Hockey Federation (FIH) also lauded the efforts of Dar Academy which is busy in serving the region’s young, talented and deserving hockey player.”
