PTF training camp in full swing

ISLA MABAD Five more players joined the ongoing tennis training camp under the Indian coach Birbal Wadhera as the total number of participants rose to 15 here on Sunday at the PTF Tennis Courts. Three player from Karachi including Syed Zohair Raza, Muhammad Talha Zubair and Azhar Abdul Qadir and Gujranwala plyers, Haseeb Yaqoob and Arham Atique, joined the camp. The remaining top seed players will join the camp today (Monday), as the ongoing Sargodha Commissioner Cup will be wrapped up on Sunday. Exclusively talking to The Nation, Birbal said, "I'm totally satisfied with the training process and the response which I'm getting from the kids is phenomenal." The morning training session, which was started at 7:45 am and lasted for over three and a half hour, the participants were given different tips. A 45-minute session was conducted with light balls. "The youngsters are learning very fast after each passing day. There are clear signs of improvement. These results are far better than I ever expected," said the delighted coach, who was busy in imparting his knowledge to players.
