AFP to mark World Athletics Day today (Thursday)

LAHORE – The 17th World Athletics Day 2012 is being organised by Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) today (Thursday) here at Wapda Sports Complex, Kot Lakhpat.

The boys and girls having age 13 or 15 years are eligible to participate in the events including 50m race (boys and girls), 100m (boys and girls), 800m (boys only), long jump (boys and girls) and shot put (boys and girls).
Principles and headmasters of government and private schools as well as parents are requested to kindly send their children to participate in this annual event of International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF). The top three position holders will be awarded certificate issued by the IAAF.
