LAHORE – Remarkable fight back by Dar Hockey Academy (HA) helped them to hold strong Hurley The Hockey Club (HC) of Holland in the first match of the event in Holland.

Down by two goals well into the second half against experienced opponents of the men’s second team of Hurley THC of Holland at Amstelveen in the outskirts of Amsterdam, the Dar Hockey Academy’s colts staged a remarkable recovery. They equalised both the goals only to find themselves into the arrears again. The youngsters played well and scored the third goal with just three minutes left.
Earlier, Pakistan had their last match of the event against their hosts MOP’s A1 team at Vught near Eindhoven in which they defeated the hosts 3-0.
