“I appeal the PCB chairman and the selection committee to consider me for the selection of in the team for future assignments,” he requested.
Yasir, who in 2007 played his last ODI against India, said he won’t give up in regards to his future involvement with Pakistan. “I believe that with his hard work, he can capture the attention of the national selectors and can make a comeback for Pakistan.
“It will be honour for me to play for my country again. I have not given up hope of an international recall and will continue to work harder to improve and get noticed by the selectors not in one but all formats of the game,” he said.
Yasir maintained that he had done a lot of homework on his batting. “I have been using a tape ball to learn when to leave the ball and when to go for it.”
Yasir said he want his fans to support him and to pray for him so that he can make a come back in the national team in future.
Yasir Hameed on his debut in August 2003 had stunned the Pakistani fans by scoring two Test centuries against Bangladesh at Karachi and became only the second player to achieve that feat.
