Customs and Navy win in G-II Patrons Trophy

KARACHI/ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Customs defeated Saudi Cricket International by three wickets and Pakistan Navy scored six wickets win over Sindh Police in the fifth round of the three day Patrons Trophy Grade II match here on Saturday.
Earlier Saudi Cricket International reached solid 309 in second knock At Landhi Gymkhana Ground Pakistan but that big total could not save the team from defeat as Pakistan Customs raced to the winning target in 33rd over. Fahim Qureshi hit 59 and Amir Yamin 51 for the winners.
Sindh Police had scored 103 in first innings and Pakistan navy responded with 293 with Abdul Saad hitting 134.
Army, PTV play draw
In Islamabad, Army and PTV Group B match of the last round of Patron’s Trophy Grade-II ended in a draw at the Diamond ground on Saturday.
Army was bundled out for 113 runs in 23.4 overs during their second innings, Haseeb Azam picked up 5 for 36, while Riaz Afridi got 3 for 45.
SSGC and CDA also play draw at Pindi Cricket Stadium, as SSGC were 166/6 in their second innings when bad light stopped the play.
While the third at National Ground between Medicam and Humak Engineering also ends in a draw as final day was washed out due to rain.
