India fined for slow over-rate in first ODI

HAMBANTOTA - Indian captain Mahendra Singh Doni was fined 20 per cent of his match fee while his teammates were docked 10 per cent of their earnings for maintaining a slow over-rate during the first ODI against Sri Lanka. "India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the India team have been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during its 21-run victory against Sri Lanka," the ICC said in a statement.
