LAHORE - The Sports Festival organising committee meeting was held here at the National Hockey Stadium on Friday which discussed the matters regarding holding the hockey event in a befitting manner.
Former legend Olympians also attended the meeting and assured their full support to tournament director Olympian M Saqlain and also gave some very beneficial suggestions regarding organising the event in a successful way.
Saqlain said that he was happy that all the former Olympians came to assist him in his aim to organise the sports festival hockey event in a befitting manner and now under the guidance and supervision of former greats, he would try his best to make the event successful.
Shahnaz Shiekh said whenever the former greats would be invited for the promotion of hockey, they would surely come and provide their services.
Naveed Alam on the occasion said: "The PHF is trying to create hurdles in our way but we are determined for hockey promotion and will just play our roles to regain lost glory with the help of former hockey legends."
