LAHORE - Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) secretary Idris Haider Khawaja has urged the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) not to allow anyone from the cycling federation to sit in the election meeting of the POA as the matter of the cycling federation is with the arbitration committee of the national Olympic committee.
"The cycling federation split in two factions in its election meeting in September last and the matter is with the arbitration committee of the POA and until this issue is not decided no one from both the cycling federations should be allowed to be a part of the election meeting being held here on February 4," he said.
"It has come to my knowledge that without even waiting for the decision of the arbitration committee, the POA has accepted the nomination sent by the other faction of the PCF headed by Munawar Baseer," he claimed.
