Legend Pakistani umpire Aleem Dar has become the Asian No 1 umpire to supervise most test matches during his career. He achieved this landmark after standing in 74th match of his International career between England and West Indies on Friday. Aleem Dar has broken the record of Indian umpire S. Venkataraghavan who served in 73 matches in his career. Talking to media, Aleem Dar said that he was able to earn a name and record for him and country due to the support from his family, friends and prayers of the nation. “Umpiring is my passion and I would continue to do it,” he said. With the recent achievement Aleem Dar has also become the world’s No sixth umpire to supervise most cricket matches.
