ISLAMABAD - AIBA has given a ray of hope to Pakistani boxer Zulqarnain Abbas who fights in 69kg category for wild card entry in to London Olympics as AIBA Executive Director Ho Kim telephonically told to PBF to start Olympic standard training to Zulqarnain and inform AIBA the venue where he would be trained, said M Akram Khan in an exclusive talk with this scribe on Saturday.
He said the final decision of giving wild card to Zulqarnain and one more boxer from another country would be decided in AIBA/IOC meeting to be held next month.
Akram said they are quite hopeful that the decision would be made in our favour and the wild card would be given to Zulqarnain.
