KARACHI – M Asif of Punjab and his province-mate Asjad Iqbal scored identical six frames to four wins over their respective opponents in the semi-finals to set up a final clash in the NBP Ranking Snooker here at Defense Creek Club on Monday late evening.
M Asif downed M Majid while Asajd Iqbal defeated Shahram Changezi in the second semi-final. In the quarter-final, Asjad Iqbal had defeated former world and Asian champion M Yousuf and Asif had accounted for Sultan Muhammad.
The final of the national event will be played today (Tuesday).
