NEW DELHI (Agencies) - APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was yet again attacked by a group of Hindu hooligans in New Delhi on Tuesday. Mirwaiz was travelling near Foreign Correspondents Club when Hindu extremists hurled stones, water bottles and eggs at his car. Windscreen of the car was damaged. The attackers have been reported to be associated with the youth wing of the BJP.Indian policemen had a tough time controlling them and giving Farooq safe passage. This is the third attack on Mirwaiz in the last five days. Earlier, he was attacked on November 25 and 28 in Chandigarh and Kolkata. These attacks were widely condemned by the government of Pakistan and Kashmiri leaders. They said that these attacks were an attempt to dent the spirit for Kashmir struggle and to prolong Indias control in the Occupied Valley.
