ISLAMABAD - President Asif Ali Zardari Tuesday signed the Finance Bill 2009, passed by the National Assembly on June 25. Spokesperson to the President Farhatullah Babar said that the President had assented to the bill after receiving the advice of the PM. The Presidents assent gives effect to the financial proposals of the federal government for the year beginning from July 1, 2009, the spokesman said.
