The breach in the Lower Jhelum canal has been leveled. Due to this breach, hundreds of panicked people spent the night under the open sky. DCO Sargodha Sharyar Sultan told Geo News correspondent that the breach has been leveled with cooperation of civil defence volunteers, staff of irrigation Department and the citizens. He said that the kaccha houses and crops were badly affected by the breach but no life was lost while a survey has been started to review the monetary losses. Superintendent engineer Nisar Malik told that the invetigaion of this 30 feet deep breach has been ordered.
