Hillary Clinton says impressive US-Pak cooperation put unprecedented pressure on Qaida

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said that cooperation between US-Pakistani troops, intelligence experts and law enforcement officials has been very impressive and their partnership including close cooperation have helped put unprecedented pressure on al-Qaeda. Giving her reaction over the killing of Osama bin Laden here in Washington on Monday, the Secretary of State said continued cooperation between the two sides would be just as important in the days ahead. She said the battle to stop al-Qaeda and its syndicate will not end with the death of bin Laden. She said the US will continue to take the fight to Al Qaeda and Taliban. She said their message to the Taliban remains the same today but it may have even greater relevance. She said they cannot make US out but they can make a choice to abandon al-Qaeda and join the national mainstream. Clinton said in Pakistan they are committed to supporting people and government as they defend their own democracy from violent extremism. She said as President Obama stated, bin Laden had also declared war on Pakistan. She said in recent years our governments, military and law enforcement agencies increased pressure on al-Qaeda and Taliban and this progress must continue. She said the US is committed to its partnership with Pakistan.
