PESHAWAR - Condemning the NATO attacks inside the Pakistan territory, ANP President Asfandyar Wali Khan has urged upon the federal government to lodge a strong protest against the NATOs violations of Pak air space frontiers. The NATO attacks inside Pak territory is clear violation of the international law and also a major blow to the national sovereignty, Asfandyar remarked during a press conference here at the CMs House here on Friday. He was flanked by CM Amir Haider Khan Hoti, Provincial President of ANP Afrasiab Khattak, Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain, Senior Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour and Provincial General Secretary of ANP Taj-ud-Din Khan. Asfandyar said that the NATO forces had repeatedly violated the Pak sovereignty and targeted innocent people. He said that it was the responsibility of the Afghan government not to allow the use of their territory for NATO forces against Pakistan. He said that both Afghanistan and Pakistan should respect each others sovereignty. Regarding the relief operation in flood-devastated areas, he said that he had stressed the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) to speed up the rehabilitation and reconstruction work in the flood-hit zones of the province. To a question regarding the Supreme Courts decision on NRO, the ANP chief said that let the court do its job. He said that the government should respect the court decision. He said that the system would go smoothly, if every organ of the state worked in its own parameter. About the target killings of Pashtoons in Karach, he said that the ANP strongly condemns these incidents and added that Pashtoons of Karachi are not alone as the ANP fully supports them at this critical situation. Regarding delay in the abolishment of the FCR in FATA, he said that owing to certain impediments, the FCR could not be abolished yet, as some people of FATA did not want it. He also condemned Dr Aafias sentence terming it an inhuman decision.
