LAHORE - No precise date or timeframe for restoration of deposed judges was agreed in talks between PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif and PPP Co-Chairperson Asif Zardari in Dubai, TheNation learnt on Friday. Reliable sources said the two sides had in fact decided to constitute a legal committee after their realisation that a mere consultation with Khawaja Haris was not enough to deal with the constitutional issues. The sources said that certain circles within the PPP were unhappy over announcement of May 12 deadline for restoration of deposed judges by Nawaz Sharif on Friday at Lahore. Similarly, the PPP leadership in Punjab has its reservations over distribution of cabinet portfolios and has also expressed resentment in this regard in their meetings with the PML-N leaders. They have also been asked to understand PPP's importance in running the government in Punjab.
