Changa Manga politics revived, says Pervaiz

LAHORE-Former Chief Minister and the PML-Q Punjab President Ch Pervaiz Elahi has alleged that after Ittefaq Foundries, Sharif brothers have established 'Sharif Turncoat Manufacturing Company for changing the loyalties of political opponents. He was addressing a Press conference here on Friday. Basharat Raja, Ch Zaheer-ud-Din and the other PML-Q leaders were also present. Terming April 3 as the blackest day in the Parliamentary history of Pakistan when a political party violated the mandate of another party, he said that the Sharif brothers have learnt nothing from the history and revived politics of Changa Manga. He said that Speaker had no authority to change Parliamentary leader of the PML-Q as it was the right of party leadership. He said that the PML-Q would go to the appropriate forum if Speaker made any unconstitutional decision. He stated that the judiciary had recently got independence and now it had to prove through its decisions that justice was not limited to Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif but to each and every citizen. He said the people who had contested election on the PML-Q ticket after giving an oath of loyalty had no right to constitute a forward bloc and hijack the Parliamentary party. He alleged that the Speaker Punjab Assembly was not aware about the Assembly rules. If that was the case, he would have never received an application from forward bloc Parliamentarians, he added. He said the Speaker could only change the Opposition leader and he had nothing to do with Parliamentary leader. He alleged that Sharifs were having govt in Punjab on a stay order but they were distributing Ministries among turncoats. He claimed that he would observe as how long this govt would continue which was established unlawfully through the support of turncoats. He claimed that it was the turn of PML-N to face disintegration. He said that instead of improving governance in Punjab, the PML-N leadership has resorted to condemnable acts of horse trading. He said that the projects launched by the PML-Q govt were stopped and there were no medicines available in the hospitals, schools were without books and youth were without jobs. He said the PML-N had neither given any vision nor planning during the past one year for providing relief to the masses. He urged them to fulfil the promises they made with masses during elections. He alleged that Speaker Punjab Assembly was facing contempt of court in Saba Sadiq case.
