Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that India restarted talks with Pakistan due to the pressure exerted by the US and European Union. In an interview with a private TV channel on Tuesday, Qureshi said that there was no comparison in actions of Ajmal Kasab and Times Square suspect Faisal Shahzad. He said that the govt was yet to decide on provision of legal assistance to Ajmal Kasab. 'Islamabad will give its reaction after detail judgment in Kasab case, he added. To a query, he said that India would become part of Pak-Iran gas pipeline pact. He said that Pakistan itself was a victim of terror, and Islamabad and New Delhi should jointly resolve this issue. 'Blame game can earn nothing, we need to counter terrorism which is posing a grave threat to the region. He said that Indian Home Minister Chadambaram had been invited to visit Pakistan to attend SAARC conference to be held in Islamabad. He further said both Premiers Yousuf Raza Gilani and Manmohan Singh had agreed that dialogue was the only way forward. To another query, he said that US wanted long term ties with Pakistan. Commenting on drones technology, he said that Pakistan would soon get drones from Turkey.
