Pak Army to continue operations against ETIM

ISLAMABAD (APP) - Director General, Inter Services Public Relations, Major General Athar Abbas on Friday said Pakistan Army have been and would continue operations against Eastern Turkistan Independent Movement (ETIM). China has always been appreciative of Pakistan efforts in War on Terror, he said in reply to a question by a foreign news correspondent in an informal chat here. He said Hasan Mahsum, Chinas most wanted Eastern Turkistan terrorist was killed in October 2003 in FATA and another terrorist Abdul Haq al Turkistani, also known as Miamaitming Maimaili, who became leader of ETIM, and also an active member of ALQ, was also killed by Pakistani Forces in February 2011. Our cooperation in the field of operation and intelligence will continue against the common threat of terrorism, DG ISPR said.
