ISLAMABAD Member National Assembly and Senior Vice President PML (Q) Faisal Saleh Hayat Thursday quoted in the National Assembly a news item published in TheNation regarding Presidents stay in US. Talking on a point of order, Faisal said that many of such news items were being published in newspapers but neither the government nor the Presidential camp had ever clarified these reports. He said that there should be a proper system for accountability. However, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Naveed Qamar said that politicians had been targeted through media trial and witch-hunt. He added that the country needs good governance. He also said that the government believes in accountability and all should be accountable for their acts.
