QUETTA Two people, including a driver of NATO trawler were killed and two others wounded in Khuzdar District, some 350 km southeast of Quetta on Friday. According to reports, trawler was heading towards Kandahar from Karachi carrying goods for NATO forces stationed in Afghanistan was attacked when it reached in Zehri area of Khuzdar. As a result, driver Gul Muhammad and Shah Zaman residents of Landi Kotal were killed on the spot while Ejaz and Zehdi sustained injuries in the attack. Law enforcement agencies, quoting eyewitness said that attackers were riding a motorbike who opened indiscriminate firing on NATO vehicle and escaped from the site after committing the crime. The deceased and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Khuzdar where condition of injured is stated to be unstable. Law enforcement agencies rushed to the site after being informed and started further investigation into the incident.
