Another earthquake in the HinduKash Mountain Region with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted almost exactly the same areas as yesterday's earthquake. The quake jolted Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore, Swat, Malakand, Gujrat, Sargodaha Chakwal, Jhelum, Parachinar, Kurram Agency , Dawoodkhel and Mirpur Pakistan Occupied Kashmir on Saturday. The quake occurred at 10:17 am on Saturday morning. The jolts came as voting for the presidential elections was going on. Members rushed out of the Peshawar Assembly building as the jolts occurred. It must be recalled that thousands perished in the 7.6 magnitude 2005 earthquake which had hit the northern areas and Kashmir at 8:56 am on October 8th. The majority of the deaths had occurred due to crushing under mortar and cement when the buildings collapsed.
