Citizens of Wah Cantt and Taxila have complained bitterly of overcharging of electricity bills, by adding of illegal additional units in their electricity bills. People have complained about 50-100 extra units, which increase basic units consumed, and bills are increased two folds. The authorities, oblivious to the problems, keep on creating official irritants for hapless citizens, forcing them to suffer in the office of sub-divisional engineer. Besides, in case of any late billings in post office, NADRA franchise etc, teams to disconnect connections carry out their ruthless raids without impunity and warnings, in their bid to earn graft add to the woes of consumers. Residents of Faisal Town, Intizar Town, Ayub Town and Jamil Town have demanded of NADRA, and postal officials for some respite in case of late billings.
