Taliban commander killed in NWA

MIRANSHAH Unknown persons killed Taliban Commander Maulvi Noor Muhammad here on Sunday. Maulvi Noor Muhammad was in-charge of transport system of the militants in and around Miranshah. He was killed when unknown persons opened fire at him in Miranshah. He was told to be affiliated with Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group in North Waziristan Agency. According to sources, Noor was killed on account of internal differences between the ranks of Taliban in the area, however some quarters while denying this maintained that his killing was due to personal enmity. Meanwhile, two personnel of security forces received injuries when rockets were fired at their check-post in tehsil Laddah. The injured persons were shifted to Agency Headquarter Hospital, Wana. The security forces started a search operation in the area after the incident.
