QUETTA - Balochistan National Party (BNP-Awami) ministers in Balochistan government have handed over their resignations to party president against the killing of Baloch leaders in Turbat. Addressing a Press conference with Federal Minister for Postal Services Mir Israrullah Zehri on Friday, BNP President said that ministers had handed over their resignations to him. The BNP is the fifth largest party in the coalition government in province having five ministers and two advisors. Zehri said resignations would be presented in the meeting of central committee of the party for consideration that would be convened to review the situation. Condemning the killing of Baloch leaders, he said it was a conspiracy to sabotage the reconciliation process which was initiated to bring peace in the province. He demanded of the UN Secretary General to conduct inquiry into the incidentas one of the slain members was member of the committee which had played role for recovery of UNHCR official John Solecki. He directed party workers for observing three days mourning against Turbat incident. Responding to a question, he said that he had contacted Sardar Akhtar Mengal and Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo and requested them for forging unity amongst Baloch nationalist forces.
