PESHAWAR - At least three women were killed while another sustained serious injuries when armed persons opened fire at them inside a rented house here at Kochi Plaza Dala Zak Road on Thursday. Police sources said that the house was being allegedly used for illicit purpose, which they had rented a few days back. All the three women were present inside the house when unknowns armed persons attacked. The deceased were identified as Farzana (25), Shaheen (20) and Khurai(45), while 18-year-old Tayyeba was injured seriously who was shifted to Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar. The attackers who were believed to be Taliban made their successful escape after the incident while the police have lodged FIR and started investigation.
