Pak envoy in Iran remains unhurt in attack: FO

ISLAMABAD Pakistans Ambassador to Iran, MB Abbasi, remained unhurt in a knife attack, Foreign Office Spokesman Abdul Basit said on Tuesday. According to Foreign Office, an unidentified man attacked the Ambassador outside his home with knife that he escaped by luck. While a prompt action from Tehran police ensured attackers arrest, said Foreign Office. Earlier, Arab TV claimed that the vehicle of Pakistani Ambassador came under gun attack, killing two of his guards. The Foreign Office rejected the report and said the Ambassador and the bodyguards were safe.
