The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz observed Oct 12 as black day to mark the 12th anniversary of military coup by General (retd) Pervez Musharraf. It took out a rally led by its President Nawaz Sharif as part of its effort to overthrow the incumbent government. While addressing the participants outside the Parliament House, Nawaz said that had he not been ousted the fate of the country would have been changed. He said that Oct 12 was the darkest day of the countrys history because it was the day when a dictator humiliated the parliament and the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Sharif added that the people were protesting against load shedding, inflation and other crises but the rulers were reluctant to change their attitude.
