Encouraging Pakistan and India towards improvement in relations, France has welcomed agreement to resume dialogue between the two nuclear neighbours. According to a press statement issued by the French Embassy here, France welcomes the announcement, made in Islamabad and New Delhi, regarding the resumption of a dialogue between Pakistan and India on a large series of subjects. We strongly encourage all efforts made by the authorities in Islamabad and New Delhi in order to improve their relations, it added. The French Embassy statement further underlined the need for Pakistan India talks stating, We consider that a constructive and sincere dialogue between India and Pakistan is an essential element for the stability and security in the region.
