LAHORE - In an implicit threat to PML-N regarding its support to PML-Q forward bloc, Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khosa has said that PPP has great regard for mandate of other parties, and he, as governor, will ensure that it remains intact as required under the Constitution. Talking to the media after final match of Polo Quaid-e-Azam Gold Cup at Polo Club Lahore here on Sunday, the governor said that being constitutional head of the province, he was under obligation to protect the mandate of all political parties and would not allow any one to violate the Constitution. He said he was not the Governor of PPP but of the Punjab and a representative of the federation. Khosa said he will take every step necessary to ensure supremacy of law and Constitution. He, however, said that PPP would continue its policy of reconciliation with all political parties. He said conflict of views was part of politics and every political party had its own vision. Answering a question, he said that matches between Governors eleven and CM Houses eleven should be made possible. Governor said that political match would be won by the masses, Constitution and democracy. Meanwhile, launching ceremony of Jehangir Badrs books was held at Governor House on Sunday.
