ISLAMABAD (Online) - PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif has vowed that no power on earth could ever stop the restoration of judiciary. While talking to a private TV channel, he warned that every citizen would come out on streets in favour of the judiciary, and while berating the unconstitutional steps of Nov 3 by President Musharraf, said that the only constitutional way of restoring the judiciary as defined in Article 209. Replying to a question, he brushed aside the notion that there would ever be a martial law in the country if an agitation started, since the masses were in no mood to tolerate one. He said that he had made the mistake of approving a judiciary under PCO, which would not be repeated, and strongly condemned any new suggestion for a new oath for the judiciary. He assured that the Punjab government would not oppose any long march or protest of the lawyers, and would rather become a part of such movement, adding that after the restoration of judges, inflation and energy crisis would also subside. He also denounced any 'constitutional package' as a solution to the unconstitutional removal of judiciary, and replying to a question about failure to act over "The Murree Declaration", he left the answer to Asif Ali Zardari. Replying to another question, he strongly vowed not to become a part of any conspiracy against Asif Ali Zardari, and fervently wished for an end to Army interference in politics. Meanwhile, another senior PML-N leader Raja Zafarul Haq has denied that PML-N would sit in opposition, since there has been no discord with PPPP; "just a minor difference of opinion" over restoration of judiciary. APP adds: Pakistan Muslim League-N Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that his party would extend full cooperation and support to lawyers' movement for the restoration of deposed judges. Asked will it not create confrontation with the government, he said 'it is a separate issue'. PML-N would support lawyers for a noble cause and 'I think nobody will object it, Nawaz told Voice of America. He said his party has already made it clear that it would not become part of any conspiracy against the government to topple it. 'We will take every step for the restoration of judges. We will take part in the lawyers' movement and play our full role and there are no two opinions on it', he said adding that it does not mean that PML-N is talking in opposition of the government. About re-starting of talks between PPP and PML-N, he said now there should be talks on restoration of judges only, saying 'I am always ready for talks. Asif Ali Zardari is my honourable colleague and friend'.
