Elders of the Meshud tribe praised and welcomed the repatriation decision and hoped that they would be extended necessary facilities once they were back so that they could restart their normal life as according to them every thing has been destroyed there. It is pertinent to be mentioned here that IDPs of Mehsud tribe had left their homes over an year ago when armed forces initiated operation against Taliban loyal to Chief of Tehrek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) late Baitullah Mehsud. The migrated Mehsuds families started to live in makeshift camps in the suburbs of Tank, Dera Ismail Khan and several families left for Sindh to take refuge and earn their livelihood there. The government of Pakistan with the help of foreign funded NGOs had started the repatriation process two months ago but it was later on stopped without mentioning any reason.
