India blocks Chenab flow again

LAHORE (Online) New Delhi has again stopped the flow of Chenab River water to Pakistan, a Private TV Channel reported on Monday. According to the sources, few days back water flow at Marala Head Works was 1,18,000 cusecs but now reduced to just 7,000 cusecs which was in violation of the Indus Waters Treaty 1960. Since lowering water flow in Chenab, Marala-Ravi Link Canal has been closed which can be resulted in losses to crops in approximately 7,00,000 agricultural land.
