KARACHI - The police Tuesday claimed to have seized around 110-kg heroin from a truck parked in Kalri Police limits. According to SHO Asif Munawar, the truck bearing registration TAA-285 was parked on Mirza Adam Khan Road. Following a tip-off, police rushed to area and recovered 110-kg heroin from the vehicle, he said, adding though no arrest was made. Meanwhile, the ANF seized 10.200 tonnes of hashish from a container at the Port Qasim International Container Terminal, says a press releases. The shipment was destined for Germany and booked from Sambrial Dry Port. Two people were arrested while the ANF has been hunting for the rest. The ANF Sindh Region has seized 933.252-kg heroin, 12841.424-kg hashish, 5.245-kg opium, 3.148-kg cocaine, 954,000-diazepam injection, 25 kg-poppy plants, 26540-kg poppy seeds and 2750 bottles of liquor so far.
