Sindhs former Home Minister Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza Thursday paid tribute to Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani for keeping the government from falling. Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza, in an emotional address to British House of Lords, held himself responsible for alliance of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). Lashing out at Muttahida, he apologized to the nation for bringing about this alliance. On the occasion, Mirza credited the Army Chief Kayani for holding up the government. Lord Nazir Ahmed, the Member of the House of Lords assured him of cooperation in case evidences are delivered.
