At least 18 militants were killed in shelling by security forces at hideouts of militants in Orakzai Agency while three drug smugglers were arrested in Khyber Agency. According to media reports, the security forces bombarded militants' hideouts in Sekhal Darra and Shakar Tangi areas of central Orakzai region. In the bombardment, 18 militants were killed while 9 others sustained injuries. Five hideouts of the militants were also destroyed in gunship raids. A number of 1500 terrorists have been killed so far in clashes with security forces in Orakzai Agency and nearly 1900 hideouts have been destroyed including many training centers. Meanwhile, security forces, in a raid, have arrested three drug peddlers in Jamrud, area of Khyber Agency. In Khyber Agency, four security officials were injured when vehicle of security forces attacked with remote control device near Spin Qamber. According to a private TV channel, the injured have been shifted to the hospital and security forces have cordoned off the area and started a search operation.
