Veiled German national held

PESHAWAR Law enforcement agencies detained a veiled German national along with two tribesmen and a girl, 6, when they were on their way from Miranshah to Peshawar, sources informed. The German national, later identified as Mckan Makensi, and others were intercepted by the personnel of law enforcement agencies at a security checkpoint. The other people were identified as Nazir son of Zardad of Zerkai Mir Ali, and Sher Maula son of Shahjehan of Mir Ali. Soon after their arrest, the German national along with the two tribesmen was handed over to the agencies for investigation. The sources said the agencies had received information about the movement of the German national a couple of days back. They added that the agencies were informed that a man had illegally entered Pakistan and was wanted to the German authorities as well. The sources said that he was suspected to have links with the militants. There were also unconfirmed reports that he had planned to surrender so that he could be deported to his country.
