Some unidentified armed men on Monday shot dead a Principal of Private College here in the eastern by-Pass area. Fazle Bari, Principal of Private Boys' College Tameer-e-Nau and Former Chairman Balochistan Education Board along with his driver was going to college in his car when some unidentified armed men riding a bike opened indiscriminate fire on them near Bakra Mandi at Eastern By-Pass. As a result of firing, Fazl Bari died on the spot while his driver received serious bullet injuries and was taken to local hospital where his condition is said to be critical. After the incident, some 250 students blocked the main road during a march towards the residence of the Balochistan Governor to protest against the killing, prompting police to fire tear gas to disperse the crowd.
