Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani has said that his government is determined to defeat the designs of the extremists and will not allow them to bring bad name to the country. He was talking to president US think tank, International Strategic Studies Association (ISSA), Gregory Coopley who called on him in Islamabad He said the extremists' misguided ideas are against the spirit of Islam. "Pakistan is a moderate country and the people have rejected the extremists in Feb. 18 elections," he said. PM appreciates initiative taken by the ISSA to bring out a handbook on Pakistan to put Pakistan in its strategic context for researchers, students, journalists and the general public.ISSA president briefed the PM about the objectives and activities of his organisation.
