At least five killed, four injured in Bajaur blasts

At least five persons were killed and four others injured in remote controlled bomb attacks on two passenger buses here in Bajaur on Thursday. According to security sources, two passenger buses were targeted by remote controlled bombs in Chamarkand area of Bajaur Agency. The powerful blasts destroyed the two passenger buses killing five passengers one the spot while four others were injured. The death toll is expected to rise. The injured were shifted to the Khar Headquarters Hospital where according to hospital sources condition of the wounded people was serious. The security forces after the blast placed strict cordoned off in the area and launched search operation but no arrest has been made yet. Meanwhile, security in the area has been tightened with increase in patrol and thorough checking of persons and vehicles entering and leaving the area.
