ISLAMABAD - Interior Minister Rehman Malik Wednesday ruling out the possibility of presence of Haqqani network inside Pakistan said if Pakistan got credible information about their presence, the government would hurriedly launch action against the group. He was talking to media persons after his meeting with Robert S Muller, Director FBI, USA, along with his delegation that earlier called on him at the ministry of interior. He further said that they had exchanged their viewpoints with US delegation about Haqqani network in the meeting. Robert S Muller said that they in their meeting with Rehman Malik had urged the need to enhance more cooperation for the exchange of information about terrorists between the two allies of war on terrorism in addition to the increased collaboration against the war on terrorism. US will enable and train Pakistani institutions to take action against terrorists as they are threat to peace of Pakistan, US and the entire world, he added. A press release issued by the ministry of interior says that the meeting was held in a very cordial atmosphere in which both sides discussed matters of bilateral relations, extradition and exchange of information of terrorists. Both also discussed ways and means to further enhance cooperation in the war against terrorism. Robert S Muller, Director FBI, USA appreciated Pakistans role and sacrifices made in the war against terrorism. He invited Interior Minister Rehman Malik to pay a visit to USA.
